Gastroesophageal reflux disease, or GERD, can occur when the lower esophageal sphincter (LES) does not shut the proper way and stomach contents leak back, or reflux, back into the esophagus.غاسترويسوفاغال الجزر المرض ، او غرد يمكن ان يحدث فيه انخفاض مصرة المريئي (les) لا تغلق الطريق الصحيح ، وتسرب الى محتويات المعده ، أو جزر وتعود الى المرء. The LES is a ring of muscle at the lower part of the esophagus which acts like a valve between the esophagus and stomach.في les هو حلقة من عضلة في الجزء السفلي من المرء الذي يعمل بمثابة صمام بين المرء والمعده. The esophagus carries the food from the mouth to the stomach.المرء يحمل الغذاء من الفم الى المعده.

When the food is refluxed back, the stomach acid touches the lining of the esophagus.وعندما رجع الى الغذاء والمعده الحمضيه تلامس بطانة المرء. This causes a burning sensation in the chest or throat called heartburn.هذا يسبب حساسيه ملتهبه في الصدر او الحنجره الى الحموضه المعويه. Occasional heartburn is does not mean that you have GERD.الحموضه المعويه هو عرضي لا يعني انك قد غيرد. Though if heartburn occurs more than twice a week, this may be considered GERD.اذا كانت الحموضه المعويه يحدث أكثر من مرتين في الاسبوع ، يمكن النظر غيرد. Some people may have GERD without heartburn symptoms.بعض الناس قد غرد بدون اعراض الحموضه المعويه.
